Built for deep winter protection, the Nomad Parka Coat 2.0 in Stone delivers below-the-knee coverage and adaptive warmth in a structured silhouette engineered for extreme cold. The coat features RDS-certified down insulation that traps body heat without excess bulk, paired with a matt Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coated shell to shed snow and moisture in harsh conditions.
A reinforced storm flap seals out wind at vulnerable points, while strategically positioned multi-entry pockets provide accessible storage for essentials. The tailored fit maintains mobility across layered outfits, making it equally suited to urban commutes and alpine exposure. Designed to perform reliably between -5 and -15°C, this parka combines technical precision with understated aesthetic appeal—a premium investment for serious winter wear.
To tell the truth, I am ambivalent.
The coat certainly looks better - fuller - puffier in photos. Additionally, the snaps do not function smoothly, and the over-sized coat check loop sticks up (from the collar) needlessly.
On the plus side, the garment is roomy, comfortable and warm.
Bottom line: I may only keep the garment for one season, and suggest to potential buyers—keep looking.
Thanks for your feedback, Richard. We're glad to hear you find the Nomad Parka comfortable and warm. We'll take your comments about the snaps and collar loop onboard for improvement. If there's anything else we can assist with, feel free to reach out.
