Making moves

Four of us, each from a different background, kept having the same conversation. We believed outerwear could be premium in quality, considered in design and accessible in price. All at once, without compromise.

So we built it ourselves. We pooled our own money, sourced our own materials and spent months wearing prototypes through London winters until the seams gave out. Then we fixed the seams and did it again.

Proof of concept

The debut collection was small and intentional. We had no budget for campaigns or wholesale showrooms, so we let the product do the talking.

The first stockists found us through word of mouth. Every piece sold confirmed what we already believed: people will pay for quality when the quality is obvious.

Designed in London, tested by London

Every jacket starts as a sketch in our London studio. Charlie leads the design process from first concept through to final production and nothing ships until it has been worn, adjusted and worn again.

We select every fabric, every fill and every component ourselves. Sustainable down, eco friendly fills and ethical manufacturing are built into the process from the start. A focused team doing things the long way round.

Roots and retail

Zalando, ASOS, Flannels, Nordstrom and Macy's. Some of the biggest names in global retail chose to stock JACK1T. Expanding into Europe and the US meant adapting to new markets, new logistics and new weather.

The design philosophy stayed exactly where we started: London studio, limited runs and zero compromise on materials. Today JACK1T sits alongside the world's most established outerwear brands on the shelves of nine major stockists across three continents.

The studio is still in London. Every piece is still designed by the same founders who wore the first prototypes through the rain. This is a hands on team that knows every seam in the collection by name.

Our ONELOFT™ technology is exclusive to JACK1T. Responsibly sourced high fill power down blended with technical insulation to deliver warmth without bulk. No other brand has it. AW26 is our most ambitious collection yet and every jacket in it has been through the same process that built the brand from day one.

THE MISSION

We believe outerwear should last longer than a season. Every JACK1T is released in limited runs because we would rather make fewer pieces properly than flood the market with stock we cannot stand behind. We believe the customer should feel the quality before they read the price. And we believe that somewhere between the school run and the last train home, what you are wearing matters.

Where it all began
